Akram — Travels
Barcelona cityscape with Sagrada Familia

Barcelona

Day 1 - Jan 30, 2025

Arrival & La Pepita

Airport — Uber — Hotel. I arrived at the hotel and immediately crashed after 36 hours without sleep.

After waking up, I headed toward the Sagrada Família to get a sunset view of the latest additions. It's a lot taller than I remember.

Feeling hungry, I went to find a spot where I had finished my 2018 Barcelona trip: La Pepita. I ordered the house Patatas Bravas and the Weakfish Ceviche. The ceviche was extra acidic and sharp, which was very refreshing. Exactly how it should be.

Back to the hotel to watch the new episode of Industry and crash for the night.

Day 2 - Jan 31, 2025

Coffee & late night döner

Started the day at Lato Cafe with a coffee and an Avacado toast. The spot itself was beautiful.

I ordered El Niño Toast: toasted bread with crushed avocado, chia and sunflower seeds, cilantro oil, a poached egg, cherry tomatoes, lime, and black pepper and a flat white. Breakfast of travelers.

Followed it by an early afternoon cortado at Onis Coffee. Spent time looking at the beautiful building detailing across the street. Chill vibes.

Grabbed a crème croissant from Mistral. It was amazing.

Late night KEVABRÖ Doner to end the day. Sometimes you have to have a greasy late night kebab after a long jet lagged day.
